A thought..
On my recent Practicum, I went to a little school that consisted of 120 students. It was a big change to last years Prac where the school was quite wealthy and had plentiful resources and equipment. It was a great comparison. Last years school had a specific computer lesson once a week for the students, a computer classroom and a specific computer teacher. This year I found that my supervising teacher strongly believed in incorporating as many lessons with the computers. She had 10 computers in the classroom where the students’ were constantly on them. Â
When I was comparing these two schools, I wondered what the better option was. The computer lesson, classroom and teacher? Or supporting everyday lessons with the computers in the room?
